This lightweight bassinet is for your newborn to sleep in for naps around the house, on the go, or overnight when away from home. Pulling double-duty, the Easy Sleep Portable Bassinet can also act as a safe and clean place to put baby down when out and about for tummy time, play, or simply gazing up at the trees.

Care

Mattress Care: Remove the mattress from the frame. Gentle Hand Wash. Do not tumble dry. Do not iron. Do not dryclean.
Frame and Bag Care: Wipe down with damp cloth
To store or transport, simply release the lock, fold in half and slide into the Carry Bag backpack, included.

Warnings

Use only the mattress provided with the product. Never add a pillow, comforter, loose blanket or another mattress for padding.
To reduce the risk of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), paediatricians recommend healthy infants be placed on their back to sleep.
Do not suspend strings over a bassinet, or attach strings to toys.
Do not use if any parts are missing, damaged or broken.
Periodically check product for loose, damaged or missing parts. Contact ergoPouch for replacement parts and instructional literature if needed. Do no substitute parts.
This product is designed as a safe sleep area for a newborn infant until they start to roll. Discontinue use once baby shows signs of rolling, or has reached 9kg, whichever comes first.
If a sheet is used on the mattress, use one specifically designed to fit the dimensions of the mattress.
Do not lift the bassinet when a baby is inside it.
Not to be used as a co-sleeper.
Use only on flat, hard surfaces on the ground.
Never leave a child unattended.
For correct and safe use of mosquito net, please ensure the net is attached securely to buttons located on the outside of the bassinet and fully extended over the outside frame. When the net is not in use, please detach completely from the bassinet and store separately. DO not place whole net or partial net (one side of the net) inside bassinet when net is not in use.

Can I use this from birth?

Yes, the Easy Sleep Portable Bassinet is safe to use for sleep from birth.

How much does the bassinet weigh?

The bassinet weighs 2.2kg, making it lightweight enough for portability, and sturdy enough for sleep.

Will the bassinet support my baby’s size or weight?

An infant up to 9kg can safely use the Easy Sleep Portable Bassinet. The bassinet is 80cm long and 49cm wide.

Does the bassinet meet safety standards for sleep?

In Australia, there are no specific safety standards for bassinets. However, we have designed the Easy Sleep Portable Bassinet with safety features in mind, as guided by Red Nose Australia and INPAA. The breathable mesh body on all sides provide good ventilation, the high sides are made with a sturdy steel frame measuring 30cm, and the thin, firm mattress is designed to ensure the bassinet is safe for infant sleeping.

Can I use this as a co-sleeper?

We do not suggest this is used as a co-sleeper in your bed.

Can I use it for overnight sleeps as well as day naps?

Yes. The safety features of the bassinet make it safe to use for both naps during the day, and overnight sleep.

Can the Baby Tuck Sheet or fitted sheets be used with the Portable Bassinet mattress?

The bassinet-sized Baby Tuck Sheet is designed to be fitted closely to a firm mattress for a standard sized bassinet. The Easy Sleep Portable Bassinet is a thin, smaller mattress designed for travel, and as such the Baby Tuck Sheet would not fit closely on this mattress.

The fitted sheet range in the bassinet size can be used on the Easy Sleep Portable Bassinet. When you first put a new fitted sheet on the mattress, the elastic might pull the mattress ends up. If this happens, allow some time for the elastic to stretch and the mattress to settle down before placing baby in for sleep. You can quicken this process by adding a light weight on top of the mattress. Please remove this weight before placing baby to sleep in the bassinet; the sleep space should be free of any other products, bedding, loose items or toys.
