Sleep Suit Bag

The Sleep Suit Bag is an award-winning, multi-functional Sleeping Bag and Sleep Suit with legs in one, for babies, toddlers and kids.

Who is it for?
Whilst we recommend it for toddlers, the Sleep Suit Bag can be used from age 3 months once your little one is rolling and has converted from swaddling to arms-out sleeping. Our award-winning Sleep Suit Bag converts from a sleeping bag to a suit with legs, using zippers and is therefore preferred by parents of toddlers for the freedom it gives during sleep.
- 3-12 months. We recommend the 'bag' configuration for this age group.
- 8-24 months. We recommend converting the bag into a 'suit' around 12-15 months of age when your little one will start to walk.
- 2-4 years and 4-6 years. We recommend only using the 'suit' configuration for this age, to prevent injury in the event of cot climbing, or leaving the bed during the night.
How to use
In 'Bag' mode:
1. Use like a regular sleeping bag. Given the zip configuration, we suggest only opening the upper zips to dress.
2. Put your childs legs into the bag first, in an upright or lying down position. Pull up over shoulders and put the arms in last. Zip up.
3. To change a nappy or use the toilet, undo the lower zips 3/4 of the way down. Remove their legs and lower torso as needed. Put legs back into the bag and zip up when finished.
To transition/use as a Suit:
1. Undo the zips in the lower portion of the pouch
2. Connect the front left zip to the back left zips, and zip up all the way to the crotch. Repeat on the right side and voila, you have two 'legs'.
3. Dress your child in the Suit by opening the upper zip only. Given the zip configuration, we suggest putting your child's legs in first, in an upright position, and then putting the arms in.
4. To change a nappy or use the toilet, undo the lower leg zips 3/4 of the way down. Remove their legs and lower torso as needed. Put legs back into the suit and zip up when finished.

Understanding TOG ratings
Your Sleep Suit Bag comes with a TOG rating. TOG stands for Thermal Overall Grade and is a unit of measurement for insulation and warmth of sleepwear and bedding. Put simply, the lower the TOG rating the lighter the fabric. The higher the rating, the more padded and insulated it is for warmth. TOG rated fabrics are important as your baby cannot regulate their temperature like adults can.
The TOG rating means that there is no need for additional blankets in the cot when using this lightweight sack, making it a safe-sleep option. Parents can be rest assured that the breathable organic, natural fibres will help regulate their child’s temperature and prevent overheating. Parents can follow the FREE room thermometer and What to Wear guide provided with the roomy sleeping bag, to layer appropriately underneath to keep their child warm.
What TOGs does the Sleep Suit Bag come in?
Choose from four TOGs for comfortable sleeping no matter the temperature. The Sleep Suit Bag is available in 0.2, 1.0, 2.5, and 3.5 TOG.

Follow our Temperature and What to Wear Guide to help you choose the right TOG rating for your child whatever the season.
The 2.5 TOG and 3.5 TOG Sleep Suit Bags come with long sleeve arms in a 1.0 TOG organic stretch jersey cotton material, for extra warmth during colder nights.
Handy features for tackling nighttime situations
Being woken in the night can make the perkiest parents zombie-like when it comes to helping your child through their sleep development milestones. The Sleep Suit Bag is uniquely designed to tackle common sleep disruptors, to make it simpler and faster for parents to settle their child back to sleep after a night waking.
Nappy changes
Undo the lower zip portion of the bag or suit, and roll it up to change a nappy overnight. Your child can keep the upper half of the Sleep Suit Bag on their body, keeping them warm during the nappy change.

Big beds and sleep walking
Once your child is ready to graduate to a big bed but not ready to pull up blankets, the Sleep Suit Bag in 'legs' mode will keep them warm without restricting their movements at night, should they get out of the bed.

Use the product in 'legs' mode
If you have the product still in the 'bag' mode, it may be that your wriggly toddler needs their leg freedom to be comfy in sleep. Go ahead and try out the 'legs' mode to see if it makes a difference.
